Pantavanij Partners with Investree to Strengthen Supply Chain Finance Services for SMEs
Pantavanij Co., Ltd., a leading provider of e-Procurement systems and B2B Marketplace in Thailand and ASEAN, led by Managing Director Mr. Apisit Kuparatana, has partnered with Investree (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a fintech company specializing in SME lending, led by Co-Founder Mr. Worakorn Sirijinda. Both companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly provide Supply Chain Finance services, enabling business loans for sellers or suppliers on Pantavanij’s procurement platform. This collaboration allows SMEs to access financing quickly and conveniently by using digital data from Pantavanij’s system, supported by leading financial institutions. The initiative aims to create more business opportunities for suppliers, support medium and small-sized enterprises, enhance competitiveness, and contribute to the country’s economic circulation.
Investree (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is a fintech startup that originated in Indonesia and has expanded its business to Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand. The company is currently in the process of obtaining a Crowd Funding Platform license from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand.
Mr. Worakorn Sirijinda, Co-Founder of Investree Thailand, explained that Investree acts as a bridge to “match SMEs seeking capital with investors.” Many SMEs face challenges accessing financing due to limitations in financial verification, which makes obtaining loans from commercial banks difficult, often forcing them to turn to informal lenders with high interest rates, increasing business costs. Investree’s service connects investors with borrowers, analyzes creditworthiness, and manages the entire lending process from contract execution to repayment.
“When SMEs lack liquidity, it affects the country’s overall economy. Currently, SMEs account for 95% of all businesses in Thailand and employ more than 50% of the workforce, making them a key driver of the Thai economy. Our platform helps SMEs access financing without worry, while also allowing investors to earn returns suitable for their chosen risk level,” said Mr. Sirijinda.
Pantavanij’s Supply Chain Finance service allows financial institutions to act as intermediaries, improving efficiency in the supply chain. Business owners can sell invoices at a discount to financial institutions and immediately receive cash to maintain business operations. Applying for Supply Chain Finance through Pantavanij facilitates the loan process for applicants and reassures financial institutions, enabling faster loan approvals—typically within three business days.
